If I am having an old OMLA Gift Card, what should I do?+
In case if you are having an old OMLA Gift Card, it has to be exchanged for an all New OMLA Gift Card by visiting any of the guest service desks across UAE or requesting online. The replacement from the old card to the new card is free of charge.
To continue your shopping experience without any interruption it is advised to use your new OMLA Gift Card.
What is the cash load limit on my OMLA Gift Card?+
Maximum Amount that can be loaded to OMLA Gift card is AED 37,500 in a year with a minimum Load Amount of AED 50 per card. Any denomination between the mentioned values can be loaded in the card with an annual limit of AED 37,500.

b. What are the fees associated with the OMLA Gift Card?+
The fees associated with the OMLA Gift Card are as follows:
- Exchange of old Gift Card for new: Free of Charge
- Issuance Fee: AED 15 for the electronic activation of the Gift Card making it available for use;
- Re – activation Fee: AED 15 for extending the expiry date of the Gift Card; and
- Replacement Fee: AED 15 for replacing a lost, stolen or damaged Gift Card.
- In case of re – activation and replacement the associated fees will be deducted from the available balance remaining on the expired, lost, stolen or damaged card in question.
Can I “top up” my card?+
No, they cannot be topped up or reloaded as OMLA Gift Cards are single load only
Where can I use my OMLA Gift Card?+
The OMLA Gift Card can be used anywhere in the world to shop and dine whereever the scheme on the card is accepted.
Is activation of all Gift Cards needed before they can be used?+
Yes, prior to use all Gift Cards have to be activated.
All recipients of Gift Cards are required to activate their Gift Card. It is required to register an account (or log in to your existing account if you have already registered an account previously) and then activate the Gift Card against your account. Once your Gift Card is activated, it will be ready to use and spend at any of the locations listed above. Gift card can be managed within the portal to check balance, to retrieve Gift card pin number and for marking Gift Card as lost/ stolen.
What is the validity of my OMLA Gift Card?+
Your OMLA Gift Card is valid for a period of 12 months. Exactly one year from the date of purchase your Gift Card will expire.
How do I use my Gift Card?+
The usage of your Gift Card is the same way as any other Credit/Debit card product. Simply enter your 4 digit PIN into the payment device or credit card machine after presenting your card to the retailer. Your gift card can be used as part payment for purchase if the value of the purchase is higher than the balance available on the Omla gift. Multiple transactions can be done with your gift card until the balance has been fully used or the validity of the card has expired.

i. How will I get the PIN code for my OMLA gift card?+
Your gift card package includes the four digit OMLA Gift Card PIN code. Your PIN code can be retrieved by logging into your Gift Card Account by visiting www.OMLA.ae
How will I know my gift card expiry date?+
At the time of purchase of the Gift card, expiry date can be found on the recipient receipt provided along with the card.

Can I use my Gift card to for doing transaction on internet?+
Yes, You can use your card on internet for your online transactions.
Is it possible to withdraw cash from an ATM using my Gift card?+
No. Cash Withdrawal from an ATM cannot be done using OMLA Gift Card.
How long will it take to credit the refund of my transaction amount from a retailer after I returned a purchase?+
Most refunds from retailers take up to 5 business (Sunday-Thursday) days to be applied to the balance of the Gift Card, as it depends on the retailers banking system, but can take much longer time in some cases. We regret to say that we have no influence over the speed of retailers banking systems.
How do I unblock my PIN?+
Your card will be blocked in case if your PIN is entered incorrectly three (3) times while carrying out a transaction. In such cases, it is advised to contact our customer service team on +971 600564666 to carry out security checks to verify that you are the genuine cardholder. After verification, the customer service team will unblock your card and you will then need to retrieve your PIN by visiting www.OMLA.ae. After the card is unblocked by the customer service team, it may take twenty-four hours for the card to become available for further use.
What should I do if my card validity has expired?+
It is advised to review a copy of the terms and conditions by clicking HERE. The card is invalid once the Gift Card validity has expired.
However, a grace period of 90 days for re-activation of gift cards is available for cards having balance greater than AED 15. A fee of AED 15 will be incurred for reactivation of your OMLA Gift Card. The amount will be deducted from the available balance on the card at the time of activation
Can I get a refund for the available balance on the card?+
The funds will not be refunded to you once they have been loaded on the card as it is a gift card. However, you can access the remaining funds for Point of Sale (POS) transactions during the validity period and grace period, subject to successful re-activation.
What should I do if my Gift card is lost/ stolen?+
o If the card is lost/ stolen, mark the card as lost/stolen by logging onto your Gift Card Account. Alternatively, our customer service team can be contacted on +971 600564666 who will be able to help you to locate and block your Gift Card. In both scenarios, a reference number will be provided which will help you collect a replacement Gift card.
A fee of 15 AED will be incurred for replacing your Mint Gift Card and it will be deducted from the available balance on the card at the time of replacement.

Will my Gift Card be protected against illegal activity?+
Without prior notice your Gift card may be blocked if:
- Your Gift Card is, or is likely to be, misused, abused or exploited for illegal purposes; or
- There is any breach in the terms and conditions of the Mint Gift Card Programme.
- You will be notified if your Gift Card is blocked, providing such notification is not prohibited by law and would not otherwise compromise fraud prevention and investigation efforts.

The customer service team is available between the hours of 10am-10pm Sunday – Wednesday, and 10am-12am Thursday – Saturday. Written acknowledgment stating your complaint has been received will be provided to you via email or otherwise. Notification of the outcome of the investigation will be provided after the complaints are thoroughly investigated as soon as it is practically possible.
